In the first 6 months, the current account balance has gone to 97 billion 10 million. During the same period of the previous year, the balance sheet was at a loss of 2 trillion 41 billion 23 million.
A balance sheet is a summary of economic and financial transactions between resident and non-resident individuals/organizations within a certain period of time. If there is a net surplus, there is an inflow of liquidity from external sector transactions and if there is a deficit, there is a net transfer.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, during the same period of the previous year in US dollars, the balance sheet has reached 7344 million during the period under review.
This year, the current account has a deficit of 29.47 billion. During the same period the previous deficit was 3 trillion 52 billion 16 million rupees.
