The price of petroleum products has increased in Nepal. The state-owned Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased petrol price of Rs 9 per liter and kerosene and diesel price of Rs 7 per liter. It will come into effect from 12.00 tonight.
NOC said that the price hike decision was made after India increased the price in the supply of petroleum products.
With this, petroleum price costs Rs 170 per liter in group A, Rs 172 in the group B and Rs 173 in the group C.
Likewise, diesel and kerosene costs Rs 150 per liter in the group A, Rs 152 in the group B and Rs 153 in the group C.
Price of LP gas cylinder however has reduced to Rs 1,660. As informed, Rs 130 has been reduced in each cylinder. ---
