KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 6.32 points today. The stock market fell by 0.23 percent to 2,669 points.

Due to the decline in the market, 148 companies lost money, while only 85 companies had positive share prices. The market has been falling continuously for 5 trading days. The trading volume is also shrinking.
On Sunday, a turnover of 7.46 billion rupees was recorded, but it fell to 5.62 billion rupees on Monday and 4.41 billion rupees today.
While the prices of 85 companies increased, 148 companies decreased, while 10 remained stable.
