Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government is looking for various measures to reduce the interest rate of banks.
In a discussion held with the representatives of banks and financial sector in Singhdurbar on Monday afternoon with the aim of getting suggestions for economic reforms, the Prime Minister said that the government is serious about economic reforms.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister said, "I organized this meeting. We are in constant discussions to reduce the pressure that appeared in the economy. We are looking for ways to reduce bank interest rates. We will come to a conclusion soon.”
“It is feeling a little easier due to pressure on foreign exchange reserves. Now there has been an improvement in foreign exchange reserves and remittances," said the Prime Minister, "I am thinking of having a comprehensive discussion with the representatives of the private and government sectors before making the budget. "
