The manager of Bhatbhateni Supermaket's outlet based in Koteshwor has been arrested for operating the grocery department this afternoon.
According to Kali Prasad Parajuli, Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kathmandu district, Bhatbhateni Supermarket's Manager Sagar Gurung was arrested after a monitoring team found the Koteshwor based outlet open in the afternoon today.
The prohibitory order issued by the District Administration Office has allowed the grocery store to open till 9:00 am.
It has been learnt that the monitoring team led by Assistant CDO Uma Kanta Adhikari took action against the violation of prohibitory order acting on the tip-off.
