The KMC has also directed the educational institutions to clearly mention the total fees that students have to pay for both Class 11 and 12 when they are being admitted to Class 11. Similarly, it has directed the schools not to charge more than the fee set by the National Examinations Board from students when they are registering for their board examinations.

The Education Department has also asked schools to refrain from pressurising students to purchase books, uniforms or educational materials from outlets referred to by the respective schools. It has also mentioned that the educational institutions have to provide the scholarships that they are supposed to and the details of the students receiving the scholarships must be submitted to the Education Department of KMC within two months of the start of the academic session.
