Efforts are being made for establishing Shree Pashupati Hindu University by aggrandizing the existing religious fund (dharma bhakari) of the Pashupatinath Temple.
At a programme organized here today to elicit recommendations from academia fin the run up to the establishment of the university, Coordinator of the Pashuipati Hindu University Establishment Preparation Committee Dr Jagman Gurung shared that the university is to be established by mobilizing the religious fund without taking grants from Nepal government.
It was shared that the committee, formed by the Pashupati Area Development Trust, has intensified preparation for the establishment of the university.
"The two phrases – Pashupati and Hindu – will increase attraction of Nepal in the globe. It will enable environment for Hindus across the globe to visit Nepal. It will keep Nepal's image high. A study is being carried out in a way to establish university in a corner of PADT's land in Gothatar", he informed.
The process of establishing the university will take strides after the Education Ministry approved the report, it was shared on the occasion.
