KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a meeting with Ranil Wickremesinghe, the former President of Sri Lanka, at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar today.
The leaders discussed a range of topics, emphasizing ways to strengthen the bilateral relations between Nepal and Sri Lanka. The meeting was also attended by Binod Chaudhary, a Member of the House of Representatives and a well-known industrialist.
Wickremesinghe, a long-time associate of PM Oli, is in Nepal on a private visit and is set to return to Sri Lanka later today.
He arrived in Nepal on December 28, 2024, as part of his ongoing diplomatic and personal engagement with the country.
The discussions are anticipated to further deepen the cooperation and friendship between the two nations.
