After 4 years, Gokarneshwar municipality has started preparing to put the waste burning machine brought from Japan into operation. As the machine has been installed in the new settlement of Guheshwari, it is said that it is ready to be inaugurated.
The waste incinerator was brought to Nepal with the help of HITA Heavy Machinery and recycle pvt.ltd. But due to lack of space, it could not be put into operation.

He is expected to facilitate waste management after the machine is operational. According to HITA Heavy Machinery and recycle pvt.ltd, the machine, brought at a cost of around five crores, burns 8 to 10 tons of non-biodegradable waste to ash every day. The machine itself does the job of drying and burning the waste.
