Government working for social justice and social security

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that his government has applied new working style to address the people's concerns.

Inaugurating the province-level assembly of Socialist Front Nepal here Monday, the PM said that "Hello Sarkar" programme has been launched to immediately address the citizen's concerns. The "Hello Sarkar" programme shall remain open round the clock to listen to the citizens' grievances.

On the occasion, PM Dahal shared that his government was serious to the issues of social justice and social security and stated that as high as 350,000 migrant workers have joined the Social Security Fund and some 4 to 5 million migrant workers in different countries of destination are expected to join the Fund in the near future. "The government is continuously working for the cause of social justice."

The government is also working to resolve the problems faced by loan sharking, the PM elaborated.

"This government is working fearlessly against ill-practices and corruption. This assembly has offered new vigour to the government," according to the PM.

Furthermore, the PM said that the country's economy was heading to positive track.

Saying that several things have been made for the cause of Nepal's interests during his recent India visit, the PM shared that his upcoming China visit would be fruitful in reducing trade deficit and boost up agriculture and animal husbandry.

Likewise, PM Dahal said that he would raise the issues of snowmelt in the Himalayas and climate change impacts in the upcoming United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Also speaking at the assembly, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said that the Front is working to instill ray of hope among the general public.

Similarly, Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal Upendra Yadav complained that the province governments were not exercising the rights enshrined by the constitution.

General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav' argued that the Front was formed to strengthen Nepal's sovereignty and ensure prosperity. He also said that the former Maoist forces should unite at a time when the country and people were facing problems.
