The Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Jivan Ram Shrestha, has said the government would manage medical and health workers to attend the noted expert on culture, Satya Mohan Joshi.
Minister Shrestha reached Joshi's residence at Bakhumbahal of Lalitpur and met with him on Friday. He vowed that government would manage necessary health workers for Joshi to care for his health. He wished good health to the centenary figure Joshi.
The Minister also visited the building of the Folk Culture Council beside Joshi's residence. The building has the currencies, postage stamps, books, and other things Joshi had collected. Similarly, there are paubha paintings in the building.
Minister Joshi also committed to providing necessary assistance for the Council.
Joshi, the first director of the Department of Archaeology and Culture, has been awarded the Madan Puraskar three times. He is now 103-year old.
