Kathmandu valley and several hilly districts have witnessed wet and gloomy day in the afternoon today.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Isolated brief rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly regions of the country and at one or two places of the terai regions of the country.
The MFD has said it will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions tonight while one or two places are likely to receive isolated thundershowers.
The MFD has further urged people in the hilly region to take caution as clouds have developed over the skies that could bring thundershowers with lightning.
