Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) sets up a free health camp and free medicine distribution programme. The health camp was organized by the KMC in association with the Nepali Army at the sports ground.
KMC Mayor Balendra Shah inaugurated the health camp which provided free medical examination for ailments related to cardiology, chest pain, gynecology, pediatrics, eye, ear, nose, throat, orthopedics, physiotherapy, and psychiatry among others.
Medicines will be distributed for free to those needing the drugs in the camp that runs from 8 am to 1 pm today and tomorrow, the KMC said.
The health camp employed a mobile hospital (in a vehicle) and provided ultrasound, video x-ray, and x-ray services among others to the residents of the KMC.
