The 'National Fine Arts Exhibition 2079' is scheduled to be held from April 12 organized by the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts.
The foundation, which has reached the final stage of preparation for the exhibition, has given information in a press conference today. According to the organizers, the exhibition will be inaugurated by Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun.
Out of 426 works of art by 365 artists registered for the exhibition, 389 works of art by 341 artists have been selected for the exhibition, said Kanchha Kumar Karmacharya. The exhibition will last for a month.
This time, the foundation will honor Krishna Manandhar of Kathmandu and Surya Bahadur Chitrakar of Bhaktapur with Arani's National Fine Arts Award. The amount of the honor is Rs 100000 each.
