Foreign Minister Khadka and Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister have signed a cooperation agreement. Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka and visiting Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Fahran Al Saud met here in Kathmandu today.
They had a 35-minute meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, mutual interests, and concerns of Nepal and Saudi Arabia.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting between Prince Saud and Foreign Minister Dr. Khadka has deepened the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement stipulates cooperation between Nepal and Saudi Arabia for the development of communication, education, science and technology, sports, and other sectors, said Seva Lamsal, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Joint Secretary Lamsal also said that the cooperation agreement reached today will be implemented on the basis of mutual agreement between the two countries.
