Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali will resume its Outpatient Department (OPD) services in a full-fledged manner from Sunday. The hospital had shut down its OPD services keeping the safety of patients in priority after cases of people being infected with COVID-19 started increasing in Nepal.
However, in recent days the number of infections has started declining and along with this the number of patients coming to Norvic Hospital for treatment of ailments besides the coronavirus has risen significantly.
Since the number of patients being infected with COVID-19 has started dropping and number of people coming for treatment of other diseases has started increasing significantly, Norvic Hospital has decided to open its OPD services as per the decision taken by the Association of Private Health Institutions of Nepal – the umbrella organisation of private health institutions of the country.
Executive Director of Norvic Hospital, Rajendra Bahadur Singh, said that all necessary health safety protocols have been put in place to start the OPD services. He informed that all OPD services will be resumed in a regular manner.
