Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Rajendra Prasad Shrestha has said that there is a problem in staff management due to the non-issuance of the Federal Civil Service Act. Stressing on the need to remove the stalemate in the parliament to increase the popularity of federalism, Minister Shrestha said that a law would be enacted to increase the morale of the employees and it would satisfy the employees at all levels.
Stating that the government will set up an administration reform commission, he said that there should be no unitary thinking in federalism and practice. He informed that the government is preparing the budget for the election as per the constitutional provisions of holding elections.
Chief Secretary of Province-1 Ram Prasad Ghimire briefed about the staff management, service delivery, and financial transfer. Secretary for Internal Affairs and Law, Kali Prasad Parajuli, said that only 42 percent of the employees were working in the state and they were dissatisfied as there was no guarantee of professional development of the adjusted employees. Chief District Officer Kashiraj Dahal briefed about the security situation in the district and the existing problems.
