The ongoing prohibitory order is likely to be extended by a week. The chief district officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur are holding a meeting regarding the issue today.
Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Kali Prasad Parajuli, has said that looking at the situation right now it is necessary to extend the lockdown. He, however, mentioned that the prohibitory order could be eased a bit.
The current prohibitory order is till midnight on June 14.
