The Supreme Court (SC) has decided to resume the services of justice delivery that were suspended for some days with the spread of the second wave of COVID-19.
A full meeting of the SC presided over by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR on Friday decided to resume accepting writ petitions and hearing on issues of constitutional interpretation, sensitive issues related to fundamental rights and public concerns.
SC’s Assistant Spokesperson Devendra Dhakal said that decision has been made to begin registration of writ petitions and hearing under the Article 133 and 137 of the Constitution of Nepal.
The decision shall come in effect from Sunday.
Likewise, the Special Court has issued a notice in the name of service seekers to furnish a PCR report or the inoculation card while visiting the Special Court to register the case.
