The smart lockdown imposed due to COVID infection in Kathmandu Valley has been completely lifted. The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, issued a statement on Friday stating that the ban has been lifted completely.
There was a partial smart lockdown from 9 February.
The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, had relaxed the activities other than public meetings, processions and fairs. Vaccination cards must be carried when going to shopping malls, department stores, etc.
Similarly, night businesses such as dance bars, dance halls, lounges, pubs and clubs were allowed to operate only till 10 pm on 19 Feb.
