Model and artist Nisha Ghimire has passed away at 6:51 pm on Wednesday. Ghimire, who was undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital, died today.
A statement issued by the hospital said that despite all efforts, Ghimire's life could not be saved. "We are deeply saddened by the death of Ghimire, who has been continuously treated in the CCU of the hospital and despite all the efforts made by Norvic," said Ajay Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of Norvic Hospital.
Nisha, who was injured in a road accident in India, was rescued by the hospital on June 11 after being stranded at home for a long time. The hospital was treating her for free. At a press conference yesterday, the hospital said that her health had not improved as expected. Ghimire's condition has worsened since Wednesday morning after her heart and kidneys stopped working.
