Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor’s younger brother, Rajiv Kapoor passed away at the age of 58 due to a major cardiac arrest.
It was reported that right after the arrest, he was rushed to the closest medical facility near their residence in Chembur.
But the doctors declared his death on arrival.
Randhir confirmed the tragic news in a statement saying, ‘I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him.’
Rajiv who was known for his performance in “Ram Teri Ganga Meri’ (1985) and “Ek Jaan Hain Hum” (1983) was also a director for Prem Granth with lead roles by Rishi Kapoor, and Madhuri Dixit.
Neetu Kapoor, Rajiv’s sister-in-law expressed her condolences on Instagram.
