Svetha Yallapragada Rao (35), popularly known as Raja Kumari, an Indian-American rapper will be performing a concert in the Club Fahrenheit based at Thamel in Kathmandu district. Raja Kumari will perform her Hindi and English songs. The artist herself took to her social media to announce that she will be coming to Nepal and performing live.
Founder and CEO of the club Milan Shrestha says, "This event is not just to revive the business but to boost the tourism industry that was shattered during the COVID pandemic." "Kumari is an icon for many and we believe that her presence can give confidence to all the aspiring Nepali rappers as well," he added.
Raja Kumari will arrive in Nepal tomorrow via Delhi and her flight will land in Nepal around afternoon. The club has arranged a ticket system for the show on December 4 which can be booked through eSewa and Fonepay Pvt Ltd. The entry will begin from 6 PM onwards.
Kumari is best known for her collaboration with notable artists including Gwen Stefani, Iggy Azalea, Fifth Harmony, Knife Party, Fall Out Boy. Likewise, she has also starred in movies such as Judmental Hai Kya, Gully Boy, Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Zero', and Mom.
