The inauguration ceremony of Achyut Ram Bhandari Music Academy was held in Nayabasti, Kathmandu on July 9th, 2022. The opening saw performances from various artists playing the tabla, sitar, and flute.
The youngest artist was 7 years old while the oldest was over 60. The ceremony also saw a group solo led by tabla maestro Achyut Ram Bhandari himself. This group consisted of the maestro's brother Parshuram Bhandari, his daughter Sita Bhandari, as well as his students.
