A total of 15 Afghan inmates imprisoned in Pakistan have been set free and returned to their homeland Afghanistan, Afghanistan's Ministry for Refugees and Repatriation said on Saturday.
According to the ministry's statement, the detainees were imprisoned in Pakistan for one to six months and, after being released, they returned to Afghanistan on Thursday through the Torkham border.
Previously, the ministry on Sunday reported that 37 detainees were released from Pakistani jails and returned to Afghanistan.
