Minister for Foreign Affairs N.P. Saud participated in an interaction programme today with Nepali students and community members at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA.
Speaking at the event, the Foreign Minister conveyed that Nepal counts on Nepali-American professionals and entrepreneurs to bring knowledge, expertise, and investment to Nepal, thereby contributing to the country's development. Responding to the queries from the Nepali community members, he shared that the Government has been trying to address various concerns raised by the Non-resident Nepalese and has already started issuing Non-Resident Citizenship to them.
The Minister also visited today Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research Center Lab at MIT where he received briefings about the works of the Center from Dr. Digbijay Mahat, a Senior Nepali Research Scientist at the Center.
