India's COVID-19 tally rose to 34,081,315 on Monday, as 13,596 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the country, showed the health ministry's latest data.
The number of new COVID-19 cases registered in 24 hours is the lowest in 230 days, added the ministry.
Besides, as many as 166 deaths due to the pandemic were reported since Sunday morning, taking the total death toll to 452,290.
There are still 189,694 active COVID-19 cases in the country despite a decline of 6,152 active cases during the past 24 hours.
A total of 33,439,331 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals so far, out of which 19,582 were discharged during the past 24 hours.
