The five-day program that began at the Barasat Ramakrishna Mission on the occasion of the 172nd birth anniversary of Sri Srima Sarada Devi and the 171st birth anniversary of Shrimat Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj concluded on Thursday.
On behalf of the Ramakrishna Mission Math Barasat, Swami Praneswarananda Maharaj said that like every year, this year too, various programs such as Mangalarati, Vedic reading, hymns, special pujas, readings, bhajans - kirtans, yatras and evening religious gatherings performed by eminent monks of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission are being held. Today, on the last day of the program, a discussion meeting titled 'Swami Sivananda' has been organized. The discussion meeting was attended by the Principal of Bamunmura Ramakrishna Math, Swami Durgatmananda Maharaj, Joint General Secretary of Belur Math, Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Swami Balabhadrananda Maharaj, Secretary of Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission, Swami Shastragnananda Maharaj, etc. At the end of this program, Kali Puja has been organized by the Barasat Ramakrishna Mission.
In this five-day program, guests from various places including Ramakrishna Math, Barasat, Belur Math, Kalyani, Nimpeeth, Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Narendrapur, Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, etc. joined this program.
