Police have arrested eight people, including artist Raju Paudel (Raju Master) and Marichman Shrestha 'Balchi Dhrube', on the charge of advertising and promoting an online betting platform.
Along with Marichman, Raju Poudel, Pawan Khatiwada, Alice Rai, Jwalan Gharti Magar, Ganesh Devkota, Saroj Ghimire and Begum Nepali were arrested for betting and advertising on the banned online betting app 'One X Bet'.
It is alleged that the arrested artists advertised OneX Bet through YouTube. It has been seen that they have advertised on YouTube that you can get a discount on Onex betting by using a promo code.
Similarly, on Wednesday, the police made public the five agents who made bets worth more than one billion through OneX Bet.
