Saino Kala Kendra has performed a public awareness drama 'Kachahari' in different places of the district.
The center has performed plays at Diktel Bazaar, Diktel Rupakot, Solma, Kharmi, Jalpa and Buipa of Majuwagadhi Municipality and Diktel English Boarding School and Diktel Multipurpose Campus. Chairman of the Signo Arts Center, Pramod Shrestha, informed that the play was performed with the objective of minimizing the impact on children due to family discord and quarrels.
The play, which was started from Solma on March 26, has been completed in Buinpa. A significant number of locals participated in the court drama based on the life of the rural people. Shrestha says that the play has succeeded in winning the hearts of the audience. Directed by Anil Subba of Ilam, the play starred Pavitra Rai, Kaviraj Rai, Sanjiv Rai, Yogin Rai, Savina Rai, Niruta Khatri, Rojina Khatri, Kaushila Rai and Dipendra Rai of Khotang.
Diktel Rupakot Majuwagadi Municipality had assisted in showing the play. Mayor Deepnarayan Rijal says that the court drama will help in removing bad habits and superstitions. Now, the play will be performed in Mane bhanjyang village municipality of Okhaldhunga, according to the organizing body.
