The school, located in Bensishahar Municipality-8, has collected Rs. 43,500 from its students, teachers, staff and administrators for the treatment of Ghimire on Sunday evening.
Kiran Shrestha, the principal of the school, handed over the money to her sister Sharmila Neupane. Shrestha, the principal of the school, said, "We have helped our students by raising Rs 5,000 and the other amount by the staffs of the school including the teachers."
The victim's sister Neupane thanked everyone who helped her in her treatment. Her sister said that the person who underwent bone marrow transplant 11 months ago is currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital due to health problems.
The family says that there is financial shortage as Rs. 9.6 million has been spent so far and the hospital is still in need of the same amount. The family has appealed for help as the same problem persisted even after treatment with the help of family, relatives and various people.
