KATHMANDU: Today's weather is expected to be partly cloudy in the hilly areas and partly cloudy to mainly fair across the rest of the country.
This is attributed to the partial influence of westerly winds combined with local winds.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in several locations within the hilly regions.
There is also a possibility of light snowfall in some high hilly and mountainous areas.
Later tonight, the weather will continue to be partly cloudy in the hilly regions and partly cloudy to mainly fair elsewhere.
Light rain or thunderstorms may occur in a few places in the hilly regions, with chances of light snowfall in some high hilly and mountainous areas.
