2 pedestrians died in a car collision at Lakshmipur Chowk in Kankai Municipality of Jhapa last night.
32-year-old Santosh Gurung and 37-year-old Khagendra Bayalkoti, who were crossing the road, were hit by a car last night around 12:00. They died on the spot. The body has been kept at B&C Hospital Birtamode.
The police have seized the car involved in the traffic accident on the East-West highway. The driver is absconding, police said.
