Police arrested Krishna Prasad Sapkota (51), and 4 other people who were playing cards at his house in Devachuli Municipality-10 on Thursday afternoon.
Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from District Police Office arrested them and seized Rs 29,760 and 3 decks of cards.
Further investigation is underway, the police said.
