50 Nepali students have received the Erasmus+ scholarship to pursue their Masters level studies in different European Universities.
Among them 27 are girls and 26 are boys. They will be heading to Europe under a full scholarship funded by the European Union to take up their higher studies in diverse subjects such as cyber security, Global Forestry, Women & Gender Studies and many more.
A pre-departure orientation for the students was organised at the EU Delegation to Nepal office. Erasmus Alumnae gave tips to the fresh students on how they could make their learning in Europe both productive and at the same time very entertaining.
Addressing the students, EU Ambassador to Nepal Nona Deprez congratulated the students on winning the prestigious scholarship and wished them well in their professional and personal life in the years ahead.
She said that as 30 out of the 53 students who got the scholarship are from the Bagmati province, there is an urgency to publicize the scholarship across Nepal so that many more students are able to get this unique opportunity.
