In Dang, Tulsipur, a 73-year-old woman was gang-raped around midnight.
According to the police, the event happened on Thursday night around midnight aboard a bus (Na 4 Kha 7848) that was parked in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-5.
The sufferer, a Pyuthan native, came to Tulsipur to for eye treatment.
She tragically became a victim of gang rape, leaving her defenseless and devastated.
Fortunately, a bystander who heard her anguished screams quickly alerted the authorities about her situation.
The police responded quickly to the allegation and detained the two men who were reportedly responsible for the horrible conduct.
The two people who were detained have been named as Pushkar Roka, 30, from Tulsipur-15 in Dang, and Resham BK, 20, from Salyan-7.
The old woman's agony was made more worse by the fact that she was homeless at the time of the occurrence and couldn't afford to buy food or rent.
She thus found herself lost in the bus park area when the incident occurred.
In order to guarantee that the victim receives justice, authorities are presently looking into the situation.
