Armed Police initiate sanitation campaign in Doti

The 36th Battalion of the Armed Police Force deployed in Dipayal of the district has started weekly market cleaning campaign in the district. Under the sanitation campaign, the main business center Pipalla Bazaar has been cleaned today.

Harp Bahadur Bista, Superintendent of Armed Police said that a campaign has been launched to clean the bazaar every Saturday from today under the slogan 'Clean and beautiful Pipalla Bazaar, the main entrance of Khaptad'. He said, "As part of our campaign to keep Pipalla Bazaar and surrounding areas clean, we have started a campaign to clean the market every Saturday from today. We hope that our market will be clean and tidy."

Similarly, the Armed Police Force has been conducting regular cleaning of public places including Shaileshwari Temple, Salmuni Temple and Bhagwati Temple and participating in various social awareness campaigns.

According to Deepak Bahadur Khadka, general secretary of the Temple and Bazaar Sanitation Chamber of Commerce and Industry, traders have also participated in the market sanitation campaign as it is very important to clean the market and courtyard in the recent times. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nepal Police, Traffic Police, hoteliers, people's representatives of the municipality and others have been participating in the campaign.
