Manang Air helicopter crashed at Lamjurapass in Solukhumbu.
The helicopter of Manang Air was found in an accident in the Lamjurapas area of Solukhumbu's Likhupike Rural Municipality Ward No. 5.
The helicopter flying from Solukhumbu to Kathmandu lost contact with Sarke. Chief District Officer of Solukhumbu Basanta Bhattarai informed that the helicopter was found in an accident condition.
He said that there was initial information about the accident at Lamjurapas Danda. The accident site is on the border of Likhupike in Solukhumbu and Umakunda Rural Municipality in Ramechhap.
He informed that the bodies of five people were found at the accident site. A helicopter of Altitude Air was mobilized from Kathmandu to search for the crashed helicopter, while a team of Nepal Police was deployed from Solukhumbu.
The helicopter with the call sign 9NA-MV, which took off from Surke in Solukhumbu at 9:52 in the morning to Kathmandu, lost contact at 10:1 in the morning. According to Raju Neupane, manager of Manang Air, there were six passengers on the helicopter, including a pilot. According to him, all bodies have been discovered.
