Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, today, said that the budget will not be brought through an ordinance. He mentioned this after attending holding talks with senior party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Since Oli has become the prime minister through Article 76 (3) of the Constitution of Nepal, many people are assuming that the budget could be introduced through ordinance. However, PM Oli dispelled that assumption by stating that the Parliament was still alive.
The prime minister, who is also the chairperson of CPN UML, also mentioned that the differences that had surfaced within the party in recent weeks would soon be resolved.
He also said that the party would move ahead by forging unity among all factions within the party.
