The government of Province No. 1 is going to install CCTV cameras from Koshi Bridge to Mechipul and from Rani of Biratnagar to Dharan. Talking to media persons today, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Kedar Karki said that CCTV cameras would be installed in the main highway areas of the area keeping in view the security situation. He said, “The necessary budget has been allocated for the installation of CCTV cameras. Crime will be controlled through excessive use of technology in peace and security. ”
He said that the government is working in a scientific way to make the people feel that they are with the people in terms of peace and security. He said, "We are working to keep the state capital under technology-friendly surveillance." Stating that the state government will set up free legal aid centers in 14 districts targeting the poor, disabled and women, he expressed his commitment to work in a way that it looks like the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law. Minister Karki informed that the laws and regulations made by the state government would be made available to the state courts and bars within a few months.
