Chief District Officer and Superintendent of Police have started reaching out to the school for the reduction of child marriage and prevention of drug addiction. He informed about the impact of child marriage and the role that students can play in reducing it.
District Police Office Superintendent of Police Avinarayan Kafle briefed about the current situation of child marriage and drug addiction in society and the legal provisions and discussed the upcoming plans of the police in this regard.
Stating that the police have taken aggressive steps to reduce child marriage and control drugs, he said that the police plan needs the support of all parties including the local level, parents, teachers, and students. At the program, Buchai Das, Ward Chairman of Rajbiraj-16, teachers, and students of the school stressed the need to continue the awareness program.
Students of class 9 and 10, local village intellectuals, and civil society leaders participated in the program chaired by the Chairman of the Center Hitnarayan Lal Das. Secretary of the Center Sanjay Sharma informed
