CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged civil servants to bear hatred for corruption.
He made the request while inaugurating the Martyr Manoj Japendra Memorial Community Rashtra Sevak Bhawan at Bhadrapur-10 Chandragadhi in Jhapa today. "In order to uplift the dignity of the country and make the country developed, it is necessary to eradicate corruption," he said. "Hate corruption, work to win the hearts of the people without delay."
Chairman Oli said that people are motivated by some political ideology, adding that the staff is no different. He said, "Employees should work for the people impartially while working. The staff mechanism is a mechanism to serve the people." Chairman Oli, who is also a former prime minister, said that the contribution of the employees in the political transformation was high and added that the employees had taken the lead in resolving the crisis when democracy was taken away. He stressed the need to move forward for the welfare of the employees by protecting and promoting democratic norms.
Chairman Oli also urged the civil servants to work impartially in the election. The building was constructed under the leadership of the Nepal Civil Servants Association Jhapa and Rashtrasewak Savings and Loan Cooperative Bhadrapur, said Laxmi Prasad Guragain, coordinator of the building construction committee.
The total cost of the two-storey building is Rs 18.8 million. The foundation stone of the building was laid by UML Chairman Oli on 2014.
