The National Examinations Board is likely to hold the Class 12 examination in the third week of Shrawan (July-end). The examination which was supposed to be held in Baisakh has not been conducted till date due to the spread of the coronavirus.
According to Member Secretary of the examinations board, Durga Prasad Aryal, a letter has already been forwarded to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology seeking its approval to conduct the examination. However, the ministry is yet to give a go-ahead till date.
The modality in which the examination will be conducted will be made public after the ministry gives permission to conduct the examination, according to the board. Last year, the results of the Class 12 examination were determined as per an internal assessment and written test.
