Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey said the provincial government was effortful to open doors to new possibilities of economic prosperity.
Inaugurating the newly constructed building of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ)'s Gorkha chapter in Gorkha today, CM Pandey asserted that the provincial government was moving towards development and prosperity with positivity and honesty.
The Chief Minister called for optimising the limited resources and means we had and to create an enabling environment for youths to do something in the country, stating that the provincial government wished to take forward the development endeavours in all sectors in proportional manner.
Expressing his concern over the attempts to convert public's dissatisfaction and anger into violence, the Chief Minister viewed that all should come together to control it timely.
He stressed that the provincial government was committed to coordinate efforts with the journalism sector for development of the Province and the journalism sector itself, pointing out the need for positive support and suggestions from the media person for the same.
Sharing that the provincial government had allocated some budget for capacity enhancement of the journalists in the province, CM Pandey informed that the Gandaki Province's Mass Communications Bill was registered after holding discussions with the stakeholders.
On a different note, he underscored cooperation from all quarters to make Gandaki Province a model province. ---
