The panel of the five-party alliance has won the election of District Coordination Committee Gulmi. A total of 24 votes were cast in Wednesday's election. Among them, eight members including Dorna Khatri of the Nepali Congress and Tejendra Salami of the CPN-Maoist have received 15-15 votes each.
Eight members, including Yuvaraj Neupane, who was nominated by the CPN-UML for the post of coordination chief, and Ramadevi Pun, who was nominated for the post of deputy chief, have received the same number of votes. Maheshwar Bhandari got 14 votes from the coalition and Krishna Bhandari got 10 votes from the UML. According to Assistant Election Officer Ram Bahadur Kunwar, Sher Bahadur BK, Sunita GC Kanwar, Sher Bahadur Kunwar, Savitra Bhandari, Bir Bahadur Karki and Nirmaya Rana have emerged victorious among the members.
