Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has reminded that communist party was established to end exploitation and poverty in Nepal. The communist party was established in 2006 BS.
Addressing a programme organized by party-affiliated youth association on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of communist party here today, Chairman Nepal viewed the communist party established to empower citizens is active in all movements waged in the country.
Once the youths are connected to production and creative works, it would contribute to development and prosperity, he argued, adding that the stress global economy is bearing currently has created challenges to Nepal's economy as well.
The former prime minister Nepal opined cooperatives is a form of participatory democracy. So, it must work for welfare of all people, he stressed.
The model of mixed economy which our country has adopted adheres to three-pillar economy having cooperative, private sector and State working together. The leader suggested for aggregating scattered capital to minimize economic crisis. Nepal further reminded that cooperatives had significant role to mitigate the world recession of 1930.
Association's In-Charge, Dilu Pant, also underscored the need for contributing to social transformation with economic activities that are triggered by cooperatives.
