CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that conflict was a risk factor for the world peace.
During an interaction with the South Asian representatives of the World Peace Council at the party's headquarters on Thursday, Oli said that conflicts taking place in some countries could become the challenge for the world peace.
"Some of the large countries have imposed conflicts and tensions on other countries. This has created challenges to maintain world peace," Oli added.
The former Prime Minister also said that Nepal would not back conflict and violence.
Likewise, Oli said that human should relieve of poverty and hunger since the two elements won't let people realize peace.
