Nepali Congress has prepared to move from the opposition to the ruling party. Along with this, the meeting of the House of Representatives is to be held today and the Bill on Transitional Justice and Constitutional Council will be presented.
The Maoist Center supported the President and started cooperation with the Congress, while the CPN-UML withdrew its support and left the government. But since Congress did not formally enter the government, it did not leave the opposition benches of the Parliament.
The adjourned Parliament meeting has been called for today at 1 o'clock. But Speaker Devraj Ghimire called the chief whips of the major parties on Saturday to discuss what to do because the Congress has not left the opposition bench and the UML has said it will remain on the opposition bench.
After the Parliament meeting, the secretariat has also prepared a possible work list, according to which the Bill on Transitional Justice and Constitutional Council will be presented.
Nepal Labor and Farmers Party (NEMKIPA) MP Prem Suwal has given a notice of opposition to the Constitutional Council Bill, Gyan Bahadur Shahi of RPP and Suwal of Nemkipa have given notice of opposition to the Commission for Investigation, Truth and Reconciliation Bill.
