Main opposition party, CPN-UML, has obstructed the Bagmati Province Assembly meeting.
The meeting has been put off for some moment after the CPN-UML obstructed the assembly proceeding at the onset of the meeting.
Province Assembly members from CPN-UML protested as soon as the assembly meeting convened to deliberate on the policies and programmes presented by the Bagmati province government for the upcoming fiscal year.
After the protest, Speaker Sanu Kumar Shrestha had allowed UML's chief whip Deepak Niraula to put his opinion. Niraula protested the government's decision to transfer three employees of Livestock and Fishery Development Centre on prejudice.
Niraula said they would continue disrupting the assembly proceeding until a process was put forward for forming an all-side probe committee to that end. Then after, Speaker Shrestha had adjourned the meeting for some moment.
