Probe committee formed to investigate the incident of Darchula district has left for Baitadi today.
The team formed under the coordination of Janardan Gautam, joint secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, has left for Baitadi after eight days' stay in Darchula.
It is stated that the probe team is headed to Baitadi to carry out further investigation into the incident. The team is scheduled to talk with the security personnel related to the Mahakali River security.
The Darchula incident related with Jaya Singh Dhami, who went missing in course of crossing the Mahakali River via Tuin (improvised rope bridge).
The committee had reached Darchula last week and discussed with security forces and police personnel deployed at the incident site. The probe team is assigned to submit its report by 10 days.
